We are seeking men of all ages and backgrounds within the South-east and/or travelling distance to be photographed.
MGEDT is working on an exciting photo project titled ‘Recover-ED’. The main aim of the project is challenge the stereotypes with the ultimate message being that eating disorders are indiscriminate.
Sharon Kilgannon is a Brighton-based photographer commissioned for the project. Her previous works include’s ‘Trans-formed’ – an oral history of transgender lives in Brighton. You can view her work via her website: alonglines.com
The photo set will be exhibited at Brighton Jubilee Library from the 5-12th July to conicide with the week of our National Conference taking place on the 10th.
Our third and final scheduled photo session will take place on the afternoon of 30th May in central Brighton.
Please be aware that we seeking people of any age, ethnicity, religion, sexuality and social class to reflect all walks of life of people affected by all eating disorders.
