On 10th July Men Get Eating Disorders Too held our first ever national conference in our home city of Brighton. Over 100 delegates were able to attend despite the tube strikes! For a Twitter commentary of the conference please see our storify feed.
Charlotte’s Helix were out and about with a team from King’s College London BioResource were in attendance gathering saliva samples for their pioneering research exploring the role of genetics and eating disorders. You can read their review of the conference on their blog, which includes their take on hearing and learning more about male and transgender experiences.
We’d like to thank all the speakers and delegates who attended and hope to see you again for our next national conference in Autumn 2016.
