Funders and awards


Lottery’s Awards for All – For the development of a user-led steering group to revise and create new resources including an awareness poster campaign, information leaflet and GPs and healthcare professionals pamphlet.

For the development of a schools resource development project for teachers and schools staff training and lessons.

NHS Brighton and Hove – For the commissioning of the Brighton and Hove Eating Disorders Peer Support Service offering twice monthly mixed gender and carers groups.

NHS Coastal West Sussex – For the commissioning of two mixed gender groups in Worthing and Chichester.

NHS Horsham and Mid West Sussex – For the commissioning of two mixed gender groups in Horsham and Haywards Heath.

Allen Lane Foundation – For two years funding of our online peer support service including one to one and group support (e.g. live chat and discussion board).

Evan Cornish Foundation – For one years funding to train and support peer supporters for online services.

GB Charitable Trust– For one years funding of the London men’s eating disorders and carers peer support group.

Zurich Community Trust – For one years funding to extend the London men’s eating disorders and carers peer support group to twice monthly.

Talk Talk Digital Heroes Awards 2010 – MGEDT was the grant recipient of this award for the South-East region. The grant was to cover the development our new website and online peer support.
